I am 30. Jay-Z says 40 is the new 20...so 30 must be the new 10 I guess...I dunno.
However, I still FEEL so young.
I am married. I have a son. I have a demanding job. I have bills and responsibility up the wazoo...but I don't feel
"All Grown Up" yet.
I have everything from Pumas, to skull Converse slip ons, to BCBG and Manolo Blahnik heels in my closet (Bluefly is great for Manolos on sale by the way!). I have handmade totes to Marc Jacobs handbags (I heart MJ)!
I have worn a pixie, a shag, long waves, and I am contemplating bangs right now...in the hairstyle department.
I get regular manis (I do my own feet, I hate strange women touching my feet) and facials. I shop everywhere from Old Navy, for my basics to smaller online sites to big department stores for clothes. I have jogging sets and eyelet skirts to wool slacks and suits (okay, one really great suit, but I don't need suits for work).
My style is not teen (I would just throw myself in the river) nor "grown up", it is always somewhere in between. My habits (at least as far as my lifestyle, but I always handle my business) are as well.
What about you...are you all grown up, somewhere in between, or just barely legal in practice...but still approaching 30, 30 already, or over 30?????????????????
T-Bags
i'm 22 and still finding my style...i just graduated college so i cat really afford most of the things i lust for...hopefully soon
1ok I love this one!!!
I am so grown it is not funny.... I have my own style from Saks to Norsdtrom to Juicy to Macy's. I rock my designer bags with my metalic converses!!! I overdress but stay fly!!! I am 43 and So Relevant!!
Holla at ur Gurl!!
2You know me, it's just like bookworm hvnly and street hvnly. I am grown, so I don't ever do teen/tween or obscene. BUT I can do hip-hop, corporate, bohem, gypsy, conservative chic and anything else that tickles my fancy. 30 is a great age and I'M HOT STILL!!!
3I have no idea what I am
4i'm turning 27 in two weeks and sometimes i find myself asking the same question. i love all the skulls and slip ons and cute flats and everything else teens wear like mini skirts and stuff like that, but at the same time i can appreciate looking classy and buying cardigans and coats and expensive accessories. i guess, it all depends on the place and time and what's appropriate to wear and not necessarily your age
i shop every where too, but i've been really
addicted to second hand stores
. it's funny how i get this same problem when i shop
for clothes too...
5I'm 24 and still getting to know myself. I feel that since I finished college two years ago I have learned more about who am i than I had in the four years prior. Moving towards financial independence has allowed me to really reflect on what I value, and it turns out I care about sharing a delectable meal with loved ones than hitting the latest club. My family and friends, of them I will never tire.
6i am 29 next week and feel a bit lost.i was in a relashionship for most of my 20's and now single which i find hard-feel like i am going backwards not forwards and its so hard to met someone as you get older x
7I just turned 31 and I feel young, too. Old enough not to do some of the crazy things I did at 21 or even 25; but young enough to rock almost any style I want.
8After having my daughter (almost three years ago) I became what I THOUGHT I was supposed to be as a mom (not as trendy and fun) -and was miserable! Now, I just go with what I like and am much happier
